Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. Her first fame was her role in Tezaab from the 1980s, in which she co-starred along with an established actor Anil Koopor. Then she appeared in the film Dil in which she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. Early on, as a child growing up in the middle class of Mumbai, she learned to dance. When she was young when she began to act, she struggled as many films she made were not successful. In the end, she was one of the top actresses from Indian films. The actress took a hiatus from her profession after her wedding before returning to the entertainment industry. Recently, she had a major role to play in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated fifteen times in the Filmfare Awards. She won eight of these. Dixit was also awarded her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her social work is also well-known.
